Before Swim T1 Bike T2 Run After Thanks Results Conclusion

Thanks

There's no way I can thank everyone that deserves thanks, but I'm going to list some anyway.

- Firstly, all of you reading this. Hell, if you got this far, you're practically some sort of Ironperson yourself.

- Matt, my best friend, without whom I couldn't and wouldn't want to do any of this

- My whole family, who support me and are proud of me even if they don't always understand me

- Robyn, Leslie and Sarah, my running partners in crime (and Dave, even though he runs too fast to be my running partner in crime; he's still proud of my relatively slow self)

- TxFe coaches Jamie and Andrea for giving me the tools and the know-how to get across the finish line, for always answering my questions, and especially Jamie for being out there and for the cheering and the hugs

- Coach Karen, who taught me how to run, and gave me the tools and the know-how to run the entire marathon at the end of an Ironman, and who is one of my best friends in addition to being my coach

- The whole crew of Jack and Adams, but especially Jack and Adam and Zane for all their help with my new bike

- Amy Anderson, my Ironmentor, who always answered all my questions, who gave me pep talks, sent me encouragement cards via postal mail, told me how proud of me she was, told me I could do it, and did much of that with a broken hand without even mentioning that hand

- Derrick and Ali, my friends who may be far away, but helped me stay sane before, during and after the training, and were understanding about my crazy training schedule

- AJ and Brian at Advanced Rehab, for helping me stay on my feet, even when my feet were really hurting

- And all of my friends who cheered me on and sent me encouragement and were there for me through this whole process. I couldn't have done it without you guys, and just because I didn't mention you specifically doesn't mean I don't love and appreciate you. My fingers are tired. :)
